Possible SQL MEM leak

Post by psychotic_savage »

Hi Guru's. We have had an issue with this server for a while now and I really need some help figuring out how to fix this.
When SQL is under medium load and a windows operation is performed ie. windows copy, SQL Server hits a memory leak.
Thus it fails over to the mirror.

This is what I have tried thus far:
Running the DB's on a different server(Different server name & IP) used host files. - No issues on the other server.
Change the servers IP (same name different IP) - MEM leak happened again.
Changed the ram - MEM leak happened again.
Ran the DB's on the Mirror - No issues on the Mirror.

I have found that it does take a while for the issue to start 5 to 7 days depending on the amount of traffic which is quite substantial.
I don't know what else to look for in this.

Any input is welcome, Thanks
