Not for people who are afraid of heights. The highest I have ever climbed a mast is about 45-50m, and the tower in the video is over 500m.

Re: The Official Android Thread, V2.0
What the issue? RAM is cheap nowadays. And then under normal operation, you can disable your virtual memory. Just the programs I usually use(nothing fancy like photoshop), sometime push my ram usage past 9GB. BTW does anyone know of a call recorder for android. I saw a few, but they only record your...

Re: Advice? Wireless Ethernet Bridge
If you have LoS, I would suggest going to the 5ghz band. Have a look at something like this. I guess the pricing would be similar. But remember, you get what you pay for, there is a reason why lets say a Wavion AP costs R25000 and a Linksys is sub R1000.

Re: Mobile Signal Jamming
Why not add an electronics gadget area? Like some churches have a babies room? Then those who want can keep there phones/tables on with the rule that the sound is turned off.

Re: Mobile Signal Jamming
My question is why on earth do you bother going to church if its not really that important to you? If its kids being forced to go by parents I can understand and will actually support it. But if its people who go out of their own free will, why not just stay at home and tweet what you are currently ...

I also don't see much sense in going Socket 2011 before we see processors using the 22nm process. Then we are going to see quite a speed increase/ temp decrease.

From your list I would say Samsung Galaxy S2. But the HTC Sensation has about the same features and the same speed, its a bit heavier though, but I can't say anything negative about it. In the less than a week I have it I already dropped it 4 times, and it doesn't have a scratch.

Got an HTC Sensation Wednesday, and I love it. The app I use most is an integrated VOIP client, CSipSimple, that I integrate with our soft PABX and a Wifi connection. I guess it's going to make quite a difference in my monthly bill.

Re: Can reversed polarity damage a motherboard?
There is a difference between live and neutral, but in most appliances it doesn't matter. At the transformer coming from Eskom neutral and ground is actually connected together. Ground is a non-isolated wire, so its keeping its "grounding" status wherever it touches the earth. Neutral is a...

Read Anthem by Ayn Rand last night, and also started with Atlas Shrugged. I'm a great fan of her philosophy, that also makes a part of The Sword of Truth series.

Lets rather say the voltage should be constant. If it drops, its means that you're drawing to much current.

I have been listening to Sabaton the past few months, can't believe they have not been mentioned in this thread. What I also enjoy is reading up on the topic the music is about. Most of the times its about heroic action in battle.

All mid and high-end cards can. You just plug it in, and go to your display settings to set up the new monitor. Nvidia has their own dual-monitor setup tab in NView manager. I guess AMD will have it too.

I carry a Leatherman Charge AL. Its a bit on the heavy side, but I love it. I think the Skeletool is good, but try to get the CX version with a 154CM blade. I'm also looking for the CX version, to carry when I don't have a belt on. It holds an edge very well, I used mine for 6 months before I reshar...
