Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
Hey, at least I live in the future :P And you get older faster than we do. Technically we still age at the same rate  Yes but as your 24 hour period starts faster - you get older before I do. And that is an achievement I tell you. You forget that I'm further in the future than he is... ;)

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
Hey, Primesy, settle this for us: Is Australia real? Flat earthers tell me it's not. Are you and hamin and Ryan just hunkered together in a bunker somewhere in the Karoo? Be honest. Trust me, it's real. :) Though, what amuses me is the way the flat-earthers claim that QF 63 and QF 64 (the Qantas SY...

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
Pros of lockdown: finally got the time to get my ADS-B receiver up and running (which is now happily feeding data to Flightaware and Flightradar24).
Cons of lockdown: there's Bugger All for it to track. Only thing I've picked up so far is this repatriation flight...

This was probably inevitable: parallels are now being drawn to the World of Warcraft Corrupted Blood incident.

Re: SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)
Middle-Earth situation update: we're originally scheduled to exit Level 4 on April 23rd. The final decision will be made on April 20th . I'm expecting some of the country will be dropped to Level 3, and others remaining on Level 4 (particularly Southland, where there's a large cluster linked to a si...

Re: SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)
I'm not going to hold out hope that Trump will end up in jail over this. I'm genuinely surprised that Trump doesn't have COVID-19 himself, given that he's been in relatively close contact with people who have had it. Unless the White House has been hiding it, which is the part that wouldn't be surp...

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
I suppose this doesn't help much, but this quarry that's around 4 km from home... it was used for the Helm's Deep and Minas Tirith sets. It's an active quarry again (was disused at the time of filming), so the SH 2/SH 58 interchange is the closest one can get to it. Wellington was the hub for much ...

Only in rural KZN... A wedding day has turned into a nightmare for a KwaZulu-Natal bride and groom, as well as their wedding guests, who were arrested on Sunday for contravening lockdown regulations. Love was not the only thing the couple took a chance on, as they went ahead with their specia...

The Lurker doesn't have a set of wheels -- Wellington's public transport gets him everywhere he needs to be.

I knew you could do it <3  Took a bit of skill and difficulty. Unfortunately, my usual method ("I'm going to fly back and make sure that the Steers in your area won't serve you any more!") doesn't work right now... well, not until flights resume anyway. (Off-topic, but pre-lockdo...
