I did already, and no I've rooted and done lots of phones. But those were Sony, Motorola and HTC. This is my first Samsung Android.

@Anakha, I have no idea what it doesn't like. I did everything EXACTLY how its written on cyanogen wiki...

There are stable ICS rom's already...

First off... I have never wiped my IMEI number from flashing ROM's. However I did find out this week that it is a common occurrence with the SGS, dont ask me why though. @Fire have you taken a look at these guys: http://www.darkyrom.com/community/index.php?forum/ They only deal with Samsung release...

They have officially said ICS wont be coming to the handset.
