Re: Cover disc requests
COD 4 mods are possible, MW2 is totally impossible AFAIK. The game doesn't support it (unless you're playing on a modded/hacked server), though there was some talk of a mod tools package a while back. If it happens, I'll snag them for the disc.

After one meh game? Bizarre Creations, the UK studio responsible for the Project Gotham series and the more recent Blur, is more likely than ever to close up shop after Activision’s recent closure recommendation. The lukewarm reception that met the release of Blur put the fate of Bizarre Creations ...

Re: ESA calls forthcoming gaming study ‘flawed’
Ron - I believe that the ESA have seen the study but it will only become available to everyone else once the Feb issue of Pediatrics is released. Starbound - The study seems to revolve around games causing mental health problems in kids. The age rating doesn't seem to be an issue, but I'll only know...

GSkill Phoenix Pro 60GB Review
Hardware Kingston was the first company to offer well-priced SSDs but thankfully they are not the only or the last to do so. The GSkill Phoenix Pro 60GB SSD costs R1 500, which in the world of SSDs is downright reasonable. For that tidy little sum of money you get a 64GB SSD and a 3.5” compatibilit...

Naughty ASUS?
At CES this year Asus announced three new tablets (10.1” Slider, Transformer and the 7.1” Memo) which were supposed to be running Android 3.0 Honeycomb when they are launched in Q2 2011. Tech tabloid The Inquirer has since reported that this was a bit on the false side

Re: E3 alters admission rules somewhat
The general public can't boycott it if they're not allowed in in the first place. I'm not sure how the average person would go about ignoring coverage of the event either.

Yay for jamin, I think Australia has moved another step forward in their quest to get an R18+ rating for games. The current highest age rating for games in that country is MA15+ and titles like Left 4 Dead 2 have previously been refused classification and banned without substantial edits and a recl...
