Problem solved. Took it a local compshop and (after an hour of trying to do it without a stuffy drive) they hokoed one up, got it inst'd, then took it out. I am SO angry with Microsoft!!! They are so COPULATING pathetic!!! *try to enter a zen-like state to calm down and not break varsity keyboards*

Im installing XP Pro on a brand new machine with a 200GB SATA drive. It is on the primary SATA channel. The DVDRW drive Im installing from is on the primary IDE channel. I want to not have to manually change the cables to get into Linux and get into Windows. Currently I am sitting with an open case and plugging out my Windows drive and plugging in my Linux drive in order to access Linux. Hmmm... I wonder if its not a simple case of moving grub to the Windows drive. ...

Hate to do this to your idea, but what about ergonomics? Carpal Tunnel Syndrome anybody? Secondly, if you need to quickly tap a key with your (presumably) right hand, then what? And the ball scratching IS a valid point, I mean, what if your underpants starts to creep...? ;-)
