Mecha project - Another panel made and both fitted
I have decided to start a new project. Scratch build as always. Like these: http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t90/JacobsRobin/Image011_resize.jpg I am going to call this mod: " Mecha " Now I wont bore you with how the final box is going to look, but I will show you the inside: http://i55...

Re: Stacker 830 first time modding
this is the way im gonna mount it - jus a little higher & less fans  what do you guys think? I agree with DJV, It will look bad on the back. Plus you will have issues with cabling if my sizing-up-the-raddy guestimate is correct. Place it below the case and make some kind of pedestal/fo...

Re: Stacker 830 first time modding
Red and black is a good combination especially if the components are that colour as well. What colour are you going to make the lighting inside? You should really also try to plan your mod on paper or some CAD program like sketcup if you can. It always helps with improving any ideas or ironing out p...

I can't find any straps. So you will either have to make your own or go with fitted handles.

Re: Adding a handle to coolermaster haf 932 chassis
what sort of handle were you thinking?.. something solid? brackets for straps? pink? :P All very valid questions. But physically you need a drill and a drill bit(slightly larger than the screws), you need screws and handles that you feel fits your case. At 13kg your case is no light weight so get s...

Re: Which ADSL Modem Router? Wireless or no?
Thanks guys.
I am not to keen on setting up any ADSL router (except for username and password). I was just looking at the Billion BiPAC 7300G RA (HERE). Which seems to be easy to setup (as its already done) and is wireless. Your opinions?

Which ADSL Modem Router? Wireless or no?
I had an unfortunate lightning incident at home this weekend and my ADSL router took the brunt of the incident. It was an el cheapo ISP supplied variant of some sorts and well it needs replacement. I am not one who knows much about networking and would like someone's input on the subject. I play SC2...

Re: Internal case spray job.
I get annoyed by your comments because I feel that all the work I have put into my mods are being dissed by someone with no experience in modding. I made all my mods, I had stuff laser cut, painted things by myself but also had some stuff CNC'd. I consider myself a good'ish modder. DJV asks for my h...

Re: Internal case spray job.
I'm dropping my car off at the autobody shop to get re-sprayed. See, I'm a professional car-restorer now. After that the tuning shop will drop in new exhaust and various other performance part. Because according to you, I'm also a professional car tuner after that. Nice try, but only a true modder ...

Re: Internal case spray job.
By the way, what kind of modder calls himself professional if he sends the parts out for the modding to be done by someone else??? You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Modding isn't about how a result is gotten, its about what the end product looks like. And if you decide to powd...

I am probably never going to finish this mod. I won't have a use for it so its going into storage. I do have something else thats moving and opening that will have a use. New hardware coming next year will have to have a new case.

Re: Modding electronics
I need some help with some power circuitry on a autonomous vehicle i am conceptualising. It's got an AVR micro controller which has got to read various inputs and give outputs based on these. That part is easy, in fact the basic code is written. I just have to adapt it to for a second motor. What I...
