Re: Capacitors... Where to buy

If you dont mind ordering from a durban company, www.pro-tecc.co.za has just gone live. they are still busy photographing over 20 000 stock items, But all stock is updated daily so if it says its in stock 99% prob will be and they ship same day if possible (before 2:30 i think?)

Re: Games jump from smooth to choppy in Vista

I think its because when you enter a new area, vista has to quickly read the level/location info from disk and shove it into RAM, so basically its your hdd bottlenecking the data getting to the ram therefore the cpu and GPU dont hav any data to process...

Re: Alarming temp delta - Opty

Yea like everyone said its not a serrious problem but if u REALLY wanted your temps to be asclose as possible then lapping your CPU and sink would be the way to go. not really needed unless your OC hard and ur temps are getting high :) MY Q6600 used to have 2 cores sitting about 8'C above the other ...

Re: Alarming temp delta - Opty

Also its near impossible to get equal seating of the cores from the heatsink, there will allways be one with a better heat exchange. maybe try lapping your IHS, that could be uneven causing the problem
