Wat should work is to take make up two sets of parallel resistors and put them in series. This will reduce the current by splitting it across two branches. But keep your resistance the same :) or you could just buy the correct wattage resistor as Rob said ;) lol true that should work as long as all...

Dude nice mod well done! BTW, putting a resistor in series will double the resistance.. (R s =R 1 +R 2 etc...) So you will be running your leds at half their rated power... Im sorry to say this but i feel you got ripped off... If you look around on the net for people who have opened sensor bars, you will find that it isnt a sensor bar at all but actually just a holder for two IR LED's a certain distance apart. SO you could get two IR leds(like MAX R5 each), stick em a...
