Looks like I'm going to give this a try, and the license seems to only expire late 2010.
That's great news!
The download is also surprisingly small, I'll probably grab this towards the end of the month.

I disagree. I think the 7" versions are a little too small for my hands, but my 10" ASUS EEE 1000H is the best portable computer I've ever owned. It's cheap, the Intel Atom is fast, It's got 160GB of Space I can nearly get 9 hours out of the battery and it doesn't feel too small. The only ...

It's on one of those "Create a website" Google websites.DAE_JA_VOO wrote:Huh?! Why is it on Google's site then? Man... that's a bummer....
Which immediately raises suspicion, because Google would probably use ChromeOS.google.com, not a Sites.google.com sub-domain, which is a free service.

EDIT: You guys know that .iso is a fake right? That's not created or related to Google in any way - it's simply an avid fan's custom build of what he invisioned Chrome OS to be like - essentially SUSE with a pretty boot-up screen and Chromium installed by default. Chrome OS is not related to Google....

Re: Modern Warfare 2 breaks sales records
This was no surprise - didn't it have a record-breaking number of pre-orders as well? Unfortunately, I think the consoles will get a much bigger kick out of it than PC owners (thanks to the removal of dedicated servers and an 18-person limit thanks to the limitations of the consoles. Not to mention ...

Fallout 3 is incredible, and aside from the DVD go here: http://www.falloutnexus.com - and enhance your game with mods. It sounds insane, but I wouldn't think of playing without mods now that I've started using them. They really add to the game. You can give "Risen" a try, I've been hearin...

That only works when there are millions of people all gaming on the same continent. I.E - the US and EU.
This is disastrous, if it's true, in South Africa thanks to our limited number of gamers and bad ping anywhere other than our own country.

I already own Dead Space, Bioshock and The Witcher (with the ultimate edition patch - I was on the of the few who bought it near launch).
I'll check out Cities XL, Risen and Arkhum Asylum - the demo was good-ish, just not convinced yet.

Hi Guys. Exams kick in for me in a couple of weeks and I've scraped together enough money for one last shot of escapism. Is there any game that is currently out (forget the late October, November releases - it's exams and that's where I'm going to be focused. I'll pick up those games at Xmas) that y...

I'm enjoying mine to the fullest, since I was upgrading from a E6600 - so I get 4 cores, a jump to DDR3 RAM and a bunch of extra stuff.
