What sane person would use Quicktime? There are better alternatives that don't take over your computer like a virus?

I agree the adverts are definitely aimed at uneducated computer users. Using Safari at the moment. It looks good and is VERY quick. But I don't have any plug-ins so that could account for some of the speed difference. Needs a few things to be relearned, so I think I'll stick with Firefox, at least I...

Interesting. I take anything in a blog with a bucket of salt, and it must be borne in mind that this IS a beta.

According to the larholm link OS X has a history of security vulnerabilities. It was my understanding that Mac's are supposedly more secure.

Ok, no offence to Apple and their fans, but the only reason anyone would use iTunes on Windows is because they own an iPod. I do use it for this reason and it is slow, clunky and a system hog. I'd much rather use media player. For this reason I struggle to see Safari being any better, but hey I'll g...

The really cool thing about SC is while you may have a favourite race they are all so well balanced it really is due to player skill and familiarity with your choice.

Most wanted was IMO the end of the line for the street racing NFS. Shame it didn't have the drifting though.

Lets see how the next one sells and maybe it will be re-invisaged.

I've never been a great player, but I like to set my race to random and just take what I get and see how far I get.

Protoss is my favourite though.

Already seems a little quicker than my standard ISP, and way cheaper.

I've also got the 21e. It's a great keyboard and only cost me R120 rand. I'm not convinced that a R600 keyboard is that much better.

I'm sure it is great, but is it 5 times better at 5 times the price?

I'm a total noob, but I administered my own site for a while. The host will give you a control panel, a lot like the CP for any forum (like this one). There is no downtime for updates as you can basically usually just use your browser to over-write the files and administer the site. You don't even n...

The main problem with ethanol is that huge tracts of land currently used to produce food will need to be replaced with ethanol crops. So the large scale switch to ethanol would mean widespread starvation. I don't believe that retrofitting a petrol car to ethanol is a huge issue, most modern cars wou...

The domain needs to direct to a specific location.

Many decent hosting services will give you a free domain name when you sign up with them, especially if you sign a contract, and they will park for free.

By the way, I don't think it is worth attacking self-professed racists or people who are racist without admitting it. Very interesting topic ;) I'm not racist because I learned a while ago that stupidity knows no boundaries . I've met more uneducated and willfully stupid white people than I've met of any other race. I'm pretty sure that all 8800 cards are made in the same factory by Nvidia, sent to the relevant 'brand' company, get a sticker put on and then get stuck in a box.

In other words it is the EXACT same piece of equipment. But AFAIK even if that isn't the case there is nothing wrong with MSI parts.

They are exactly the same, so the MSI has a cheaper sticker on the HSF and is nearly R500 cheaper. Seems obvious to me. ;)
