Yea, I tried that but it made the light orange :| Problem with the CCFL is that it's so bright it even reduces the nice red colour in the see through case fans I have. I ended up trading it for another casefan and the laser LED. A solution will present itself, I'm sure. Meanwhile I'm still waiting f...

Thanks RRF. Current plan is to engrave two dragons (not exactly engrave, but you'll see), one which is a tattoo I have and the other my wife's, into the plexi so that they will glow when I shine laser LEDs into the the panes. I already have one laser LED, and will probably get another in a week or s...

Kronos : Thanks for the tips. One thing I like about silicone is that you can remove i rather cleanly, if with some effort, if you decide it's not the solution for you. It also shouldn't discolour/ eat away at the plexi. Clear ? And here I was looking at the nice grey they use to seal basins in the ...

Thanks for all the tips guys, I will look into it as soon as 'n have more than 10 seconds of free time here. RRF : I was thinking about a real glue too, but don't want to buy a +- R75 window and have the glue eat part of it away ( ala bostik ). I will post some grainy pics taken from the ol' Nokia 6...

Thank you for the welcome RRF, appreciate it. I have seen the installation that you are talking about, and I agree that it would be the best looking and most secure way to put a window in. I also have a good idea that I won't be able to install it myself, which is why I'm looking for other options. ...

DragonWatch's N00b case modding questions
Hi there guys. I'm new to your forum and a bit of a n00b at casemodding. Please excuse me if there is already a topic dealing with questions by n00bs, or nubs or however we're writing it these days. I've started modding my case about two weeks ago, nothing too radical just cut out the standard fan g...
