You are right Jelly... Your Sata 2 (3gbs) ports will degrade and fail, where as your Sata 3 (6gbs) ports should be fine as they haven't found any issues with those ports yet...

Starbound.. That is right... You can actually use your SATA3 ports, but if you are going to use those drives alot, the ports will fail. They have not found any issues in the SATA6 ports yet...

I'm kinda in the same boat as you Slim... I bought my mobo and ram already... and was gonna get the CPU this week... I reckon I am gonna wait now until April, get a new mobo, and then get the CPU... In the meantime, I will focus on getting the new chassis, and PSU so that the new rig will be complet...

Sorry to hijack... but I tried to add the PS3 wireless-ly... Because of the security settings I have in place on my router, I had to put in the PS3's MAC address before setting it up... and then weirdest thing happened... My router gave me an error saying "Invalid MAC Address"... Has anyon...

I'm still trying to find a group to do Crystaline with me... That is the only mission I have currently have apart from Sulu's defend missions...

I think they will stay there as long as you leave them there... You can then either use them to train up your BO's, which will then send them back... or keep them in the roster till you need them...
