What speeds do the dual core chips come in, and what are their approximat prices?

My budget has just increased, alot. Half way through next year i'll have enough to buy a very high end machine, i'm talking a dual 7800GTX dual core machine. But for now i was thinking of buying a dual core AMD and the AV8, then later next year when i upgrade, i'll buy an SLI setup. What do you guys...

Well, i've managed to find a place that can hook up the ABIT AV8 for about R850. I haven't searched in depth for a good price for the 3800+, but i saw one for about R2100. What's wrong with the ABIT? It's one of the best A64 OCers (AGP obviously). It's got PCI lock, lots of voltage settings, it's a very good board. Is there a better one?

i'm busy reading the review now, it looks cool, but ASROCK? they suck man, and it's using chipsets i've never heard of. The AV8 is an overclocking MACHINE, and with the right CPU, it should last a while. Does the 3800+ come out with a venice core?
