well mine is a 16ms and i see no ghosting at all...i spoke to a guy from golden nest electronics (The main CMV supplier to SA) and he said that CMV offer true full colour refresh rate, unlike certain other brand that offer a really good refresh rate only on black and white...dont know if its true, s...

I have a CMV and IMO its a far better LCD than the LG and Samsung offerings...i also have a Viewsonic LCD, also not as good quality wise as the CMV check these pics of my setup...you can even see ny the pics that the quality of the CMV pic ture is very good. http://img352.imageshack.us/my.php?image=...

go into your bios goto:
1. Standard Cmos settings
2. Select the hard drvie that is giving the issue
3. Change access method to "Large"

Long shot but worth the try :)

also have a look at the Abit AN8-Sli, its the same as the fatal1ty but without the front panel and a few of the leds for about R800 less...but i must admit that front panel is freaking awesome!!

I dont know something just feels like to me that maybe Asus uses some sort of bridging chip that has gone wrong...but i would try reinstal drivers and the worst format, if no luck then its hardware issue
