Hi I just wanted to know if it is possible for IC chips to fail on a DDR module but that the module still works.

i.e.

You have a 2GB DDR module and a few IC's are damaged, is it possible for the module to post as 1600mb ?

Would appreciate it if anyone knows the answer to this.

If it happens again then get a program called Stellar Smart monitor, its a early warning program that can tell u if ur hdd is going to fail soon.

That happens sometimes (ver seldomly, but it does) Means ur ntfs partition has been turned into a RAW partition. If you have important stuff on it, u can get a program called handy recovery and recover whatever u need. Good luck, If u have probs finding it, pm me and I can send it to u.

Agree with ryanrich ... especially the last year or so audis new models are really unbelievable, the engines, the build quality, the styling. All top notch.
