Nic ... I can't seem to find a log file in the dir in which lmule is installed. Stevo --> I'm can't be 100% sure its not hardware related to be honest with you. My Linux box NEVER crashes anything, except for lmule occasionally. It also runs Win2k (dual boot), and I've never had problems with anythi...

Got a swanky new Hard Drive, when I tried to FDisk it, I accidently Fdisked my original Hard Drive, lost a whole chunk of info. Also once dropped a screw into a ram slot, couldn't figure out why it wouldn't boot, shorted and killed the mobo. 8O 8O 8O 8O These two entries are really deserving of the...

If it reads +RW then it should read +R I'm not sure which model you have, but a friend of mine also bought a cheapy Teac...and it plays all the + discs I've copied for him...Could be a totally different m...

My HP DVD200i only records to +....and not one person who has borowed movies f...

What is the most stupid mistake you've done?
Hi guys, Thought this might be an interesting post. I guess I have too little work to do. Whats the most stupid/careless thing you've done while building or upgrading a PC? My worst blunder ever is as follows... A few years ago I bought a (then) brand new R2000 Asus motherboard from a retailer I sho...

Try the ff 1) Make sure the PCI card is seated securely 2) Try another PCI slot 3) Try updating the motherboard BIOS 4) Try the card in another PC....there might be a 'brand' conflict. With regard to point 4) --> I bought a PCMCIA Firewire card once. It refused to work on a Dell Latitude K600 (just ...

Lmule shuts down at random on SuSE 9.1
Hi guys, I have managed to compile the source and install Lmule (Linux version of Emule) on my SuSE box. It works pretty well, the only problem is that it shuts itself down sometimes. I can't determine a pattern, as it does it at random... Does anybody else here use Lmule? And do you have this probl...

Thanks Abatis... Its interesting that it still gets power from the exchange. There are two lights on the TA....a red and a green light. The green light goes out when you disonnect the AC power, but the red light still burns. Wonder how long it will receive power from the exchange? Need to test this....
