WC: Tubing, quick fit connectors, valves, etc

A while back, I was looking for good quality 10mm OD tube. I contacted Arthur from Synapsys to see if he could help (still a big void left when he stepped down from the WC scene). He put me onto Festo . Under Pneumatic and electric fittings you will find the available tubing and connectors. The PUN-...

"Glue" fan wires to PCB

I need help from the pro's. I want to "glue" the wires of my Antec TriCool fan onto the PCB. From my previous experience, these wires can easily break off from the PCB, and are a pain to re-solder. I would like to glue them safely onto the PCB, hopefully preventing them from breaking off s...

The thing is, the cable was only slightly loose at the MB end, and if you look at it, it seems as if it is indeed completely connected.

So yes, go back to the basics, and don't only trust a visual inspection of cables.

HDD not always recognized at boot

My one SATA HDD failed to be recognized during boot, and it took several restarts before the drive would be recognized. After that, the drive gave no problems, until the next restart. I was fearing for the worst, the drive is failing, and needs to be replaced. I read on an Asus forum, that sometimes...

Since the fans have a PWM output Since this is what you have on the third wire I would suggest you do not connect that one to ANY of the others. If was planning on not connecting the pwm wire. If possible, I would rather connect the pwm wire from each fan to its own LED to show that the fan is spin...

I think I should connect the 3 power cables together, but keep the three switches separate. I don't want to blow one (or all) of the fans. 8O TriCools aren't the cheapest fans. I want to mount everything in an ABS plastic box with all the (sleeved) cables entering the box. The three switches will th...

YEs, hardly got any info but.. It's my pleasure  I basically just wanted to get an opinion on the Packard Bell LCDs. At the time of my original post, I had to choose between the PB and the Samsung. I had a look at both, and the display quality of the Samsung was, IMO, much better. I was, howev...

Antec TriCool mod

Hello everyone, Currently, I have 3 Antec TriCool 120mm fans on my rad for my watercooling setup. Cable management is a nightmare! I want to know if it would be safe to connect all three power connectors together, as well as the wires from the three speed switches. Thus, one 3-pin power conne...

17" LCD: Packard Bell Callisto 171, or Samsung?

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question: Which is better for general computing and the odd game or two, a Packard Bell Callisto 171, or a Samsung?

Thanx!

Hello everyone

Recently, I went to my local HyFlo to get some quick fit SMC connectors, and I also bought 2m of black nylon tube (10mm OD / 8mm ID) @ R35.

Can this type of tubing be used with watercooling? It just feels more sturdy than generic PVC tubing.

Cheers!

IE 6: Remebering passwords

Hello everyone!

I have IE6 running, and have set AutoComplete on under Internet Options->Content->AutoComplete. The problem is that IE does indeed prompt me to remember passwords, but it simply just doesn't do so :x

Any ideas?
