Have a question regarding SLI power requirements, though: In a review of gfx power requirement at Xbitlabs, they found a 7800GTX to require 81 Watts at peak 3d demand. So, running 2 of these can draw a max of 162Watts on the 12V line, thus 13.5 Ampere. My friend wants to go dual 7800GTX later on and...

Will I even see a DIFFERENCE with THIS !!
Hi there Just got a question: Got Transcend DDR400 ram. When I used 133 divider for my ram, the speed comes out to 191 for current fsb (about as high as I can go), with a 166 divider it would be 243. Would changing to DDR500 (so I can run 166 divider for 243mhz ram-speed) REALLY make a noticable dif...

You guys have really been brainwashed by Intel consistent bombarding of advertizing and propaganda. To the extend that you can't see clearly anymore. Honestly people, I'm no fan-boy or anything: I pick the best value for my bucks at the time of purchase, and everytime since I've started building PC'...

Also, I don't agree on Fishzn's comment about waiting a few months - sure: new and better technology will be available by then at a lower cost , but if THAT's your stance on buying hardware, then you'll never buy anything !! LOL, whats wrong with that snakker?? Well if you read through my comment t...

My advice: anything else than the X800 in the ATI range at the moment is K*K! NVidia has firmly got the lead in the all-important midrange section with the excellent 6600GT (don't consider anything else if this is your pricerange) and has also now taken the crown from ATI in the high end section wit...
