I wish I did install AV on my pc ! (I can kick my @$$ now but ja)

How do I check if I have a virus in my BIOS and how do I delete it ?

The reason I'm asking is - my PC started acting strang.
It sometimes just dont wanna start up (I'm 100% sure there
is NO hardware problems)

@ Yoda - its random , sometimes running perfect & then I open
something and its not responding ...

I got new seagate drive and loaded windows, programs and my media
now opening simple stuff like my documents - task manager reports
not responding - my documents .

Maybe I must get rid of all the junk like stiffy drive ect...

Do you think I must try and reinstall XP ?
