You can't deny the fact that this is good business. Unethical, perhaps. But show me another company that makes 7 billion a year. There must be a way (other than lighting tyres and toy toying) to get what we want. Can't we sue Telkom for hampering business growth in SA? Like they sued MicroScum? For ...

There is a way to "prove", or rather argument, that evolution and creation are the same thing. Basically is boils down to God creating a set of rules (in other words, science) that governs evolution. The problem with this mindset is then that if God created these rules in The Beginning, do...

Or, if you only wanna export the 'Contacts', just go to address book, export that (into a csv or something) and then import it again on the other computer. This won't copy the emails though.

SLI & CrossFire

I've read the article in the PCFormat today. Why not just put 2 GPU's on one card? Leave the whole dual card thing. Or follow CPU manufacturers and put two cores in one GPU? Ok, mayb that won't give the same processing power as two seperate cards, but imagine a card with two GPU's, both with two cor...

I've been using a Viewsonic E70F+ for the last 3 years. Its a 17" flat crt. I've never had problems with it, even after a few bumps to and from lans. If you decide to buy a new monitor, definately go for Viewsonic. They are more expensive, yeah, but so are Ferrari's. Anyone know the distributor...

I've been programming for the last 3 years and made a (good) living off it. I didn't do any courses. I downloaded a couple of tutorials (for vb) of the internet, and shazaam, 3 weeks later I started my first commercial application. It did help that I did a little TurboPascal at school though...

Volume problem

I just bought a Gigabyte GA-K8N51GMF motherboard (it has an Nvidia chipset). The onboard soundcard is a 7.1 Realtek AC97. Problem is that the volume, even when fully open on both sndvol32 (main and wave) and the included application, is incredibly low. Almost inaudible. Is this a driver issue? Is th...
