I watched Revenge of the Fallen over the weekend, and I enjoyed it. Maybe my initial expectations were influenced by some of the threads here, and I expected less of it; and because I expected so little, and the movie was just remotely entertaining, I enjoyed it. It's not easy. You'll have to use something like the PIC18F and program it. It's not like parallel where you enable a pin and it outputs 5V.

The smallest form factor I've ever seen someone else use was Micro ATX. Pico/nano/mini, etc, are not form factors that "lots of people use".

And it's not that expensive, or elitist, or "special". Lots of people use them.
