Re: New Movies Coming!!!!
I watched Revenge of the Fallen over the weekend, and I enjoyed it. Maybe my initial expectations were influenced by some of the threads here, and I expected less of it; and because I expected so little, and the movie was just remotely entertaining, I enjoyed it. Or maybe you were just over critical.

Re: error: name 'msgbox not declaired'
MsgBox still works in VB.NET 3.5. There is no MsgBox in C# though (there you have to use MessageBox.Show()).

Re: New Movies Coming!!!!
i don't like watching movies at IMAX because the sound sucks. Um... ke? The six-channel, multi-way digital IMAX speaker system with sub-bass utilizes 44 speakers grouped into six clusters behind the screen and at the rear of the theatre to deliver uncompressed sound that is simply unsurpassed in de...

Re: New Movies Coming!!!!
The problem is that his action sequences are light speed fast and I can not see anything because its all basically a blur. +1 A good example of (how I think) it should be done, is Knowing . The plane crash scene is awesome. They don't cut away half-way through the crash. Feels like you're there the...

Hey... anyone else been to his shows over the weekend? I've seen Pryor, Robin Williams, Lee Evans, Rhys Ifans, Billy Connolly. I've seen Casper de Vries live. But I have never (never) laughed so hard, long and constantly in my life. Sorry for the guys that went on Friday and Saturday... You didn't h...

Re: Patterns & Practices : Static Methods
I wrote a couple of classes that model database rows, and then have a dbrow manager class, that is used to retrieve the data from the database, i.e. an Event class, and then an EventManager class, with GetAllEvents, GetFilteredEvents, AddEvent etc. methods. I don't think that I'll be calling these m...

Patterns & Practices : Static Methods
I've just installed DevXpress CodeRush/Refactor Pro, which analyzes your code as you go along, and gives suggestions as to improving it.
In one of my existing projects, one that pops up quite often is "Member can be static". Why is it advisable to make all my members static?

Check out http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcpl ... m=en534494.
It's not easy. You'll have to use something like the PIC18F and program it. It's not like parallel where you enable a pin and it outputs 5V.

Never been to Spar? Or Pick 'n Pay?The smallest form factor I've ever seen someone else use was Micro ATX. Pico/nano/mini, etc, are not form factors that "lots of people use".
The aisles are littered with them.

Re: ITX Boards
You can get all kinds of ITX (pico, nano, mini) stuffies from a company in Centurion called Centurion Micro Electronics, http://www.cme.co.za or from Techno-World, http://www.techno-world.co.za.
And it's not that expensive, or elitist, or "special". Lots of people use them.
