If anyone wants to get rid of a Galaxy S2, let me know!!
Also, has ZA updated it's firmware yet? Still on 2.3.4? Or will I have to whack on the Dutch (seems to be updated the quickest) firmware to get any real updates on the official firmwares?

Re: Ubuntu or Mint or ...
Cool, I put Mint on
Found a bug in Gnome3 though (so it would have happened in Ubuntu too), whenever I enable the ATI drivers, all my text in the menu's etc go all garbled! Really annoying!!!
Btw, doesn't Unity remind anyone of Mac? Seems like a bit of a knock-off to me

iPhone 4s
I have an iPhone 120s from Vodacom. 120 anytime minutes, per second billing, 100 sms', 500MB. I think it's about R350 a month or something.

Re: iPhone 4s
I got myself a 4s! Actually, I got it about 3 weeks back already. If only the location searches worked with Siri in SA though.... I jumped from a 3GS to the GS2 to the 4s, so I don't know how it compares to the plain old 4, but I'm loving it compared to the 3GS :D I'm also not having this battery is...

Ubuntu or Mint or ...
Hey guys! I've been out of this for a while and I'm looking to put Linux on a pc at home again for the hell of it and to be different ;) I'm in a toss-up though between Ubuntu 11.10 and Mint 12. I see of late on Distro watch that Mint seems to be the more popular and seems to be more familiar to me ...

Media Servers
So I'm looking for an alternative for TVersity (I love TVersity, but unfortunately no Mac version) on my Mac to stream to my PS3, I've found the following so far: MediaLink <- Works but needs $20 registration Playback <- Works but needs $15 registration, no transcoding PS3 Media Server <- works, but...

Mede8er MED500X
Hey guys, So for those of you who don't know, the Mede8er MED500X is used for media playback from a hard drive, USB device, SD Card, Internet or Local Network source. Now I currently use TVersity and my PS3, but I was thinking of using this for in the other room. But I'm not sure how good it is? Doe...

Re: Trying to update software via internet
To be honest, it's probably quicker and easier to go to the shops and buy Snow Leopard (R300) and do an upgrade.

Re: Battle.Net and WoW (EU) Merge
But I don't even have the client on my pc? I just received a mail saying that it was deactivated cos of in-game trading. I plan to make an uber-hectic password as soon as they reply to my mails. Hope they re-activate it as, like I said, I just added WOTLK to it. Was going to install the client this ...

Battle.Net and WoW (EU) Merge
So after downloading the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator ,I was quite excited to get it working with my WoW account and Battle.net 2.0 . (As my WoW account was hacked not too long ago somehow.....) Only to realise, after making a Battle.net account, that the EU merger is still "Coming Soon"...

Ai, suppose the best you can do then is find a buddy with AM2+ and test their CPU? Or take the risk and get a Phenom.
