Re: SimCity 2013
I think this toms hardware article is the same as yours anakha. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/SimCity-Offline-Mod-Disconnection-Timer-Debug,21528.html Almost makes me want to go out and get the game but now, do I support the mod or do I support EA? By buying the game, you ultimately support EA. ...

Re: The dead walk again as Halloween nears
DarkStar 6/10 Would have given you 8 but you had an electronic device whose use is going to be very limited and a shaving kit.... is personal grooming high on your list of essentials for the zombie apocalypse? Almost no water - and a fishing tackle box... Shaving kit? Where? Only two things that co...

I tried to keep a good balance of being able to survive out with pretty much no resources.

Will your friend be overclocking? If not, then please don't waste the extra money on the 'k' version of the i7.
That GFX card is a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the PC. Something like a 660Ti or HD7950/70.
Just follow what the others have said. All I'm adding is redundant, really.

On the topic of maps, you can also get a free version of CoPilot for your i-Device, or Android. Of course, it doesn't have voice-navigation, but if you're lost it's very handy (And it provides offline maps) On a side note - after using an iPod Touch 4 for a couple weeks, compared to my Android phone...

On a good day, I'm happy with 40fps in any game...
What has this world come to?
On a side note - this game has probably the most intense beginning of any game I've ever played.

Re: banking
I use an FNB Silver Cheque account. Costs R79 per month, with unlimited online banking and 5 free ATM withdrawals (From FNB ATMs), plus unlimited swipes at checkout counters. At the same time, I can use it to buy things online and even top-up my PayPal. Best part (for me) ? No money in the account =...

It's not the CPU or anything I'm concerned about.
With the L3's screen, you will be SEVERELY limited to what you can do on it. (If you're going the Android route, that is)

Re: ScroogePhoenix' cellphone upgrade
PLease do yourself a favour.
Scrounge up the extra money and rather go for the LG Optimus L5 over the L3.
You don't want a phone with such a low-end screen. I learned the hard way.
The L5 even comes with Ice Cream Sandwich.

Jeeze, that fax issue must be annoying. Try leaving your phone off the hook for 15 or so minutes. Maybe they'll get the idea this is the wrong number.

I try not to, Stuart, I really do, but he has this annoying factor that either makes you want to panel his face with a shovel, or just do whatever it takes to make him shut up.
Sadly, the only legal option is to just make him shut up.

3G isn't viable, as I use too much bandwidth when browsing. (Hence why I'm with Mweb uncapped) We connect via ADSL, through a LAN cable to the modem (Both our PCs). I'm not cancelling, I'm just changing the user details on the ADSL router so that it can't connect to the internet anymore. I'll leave ...

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
So I have come up with a dastardly way to stop my brother from hogging the internet that I'm paying for. I'm turning it off on Friday at midnight, and if he asks why, I tell him that I cancelled it. Seriously, though, I'm sick and tired of him always downloading, and always playing either DotA 2, or...
