I walked into IC the other day and saw STALKER for 299.00, UFO Afterlight for 299.00 and Silent Hunter 4 for 299.00. Since then I've bought Afterlight at a small independent shop for 105.00 and both STALKER and SH4 for 99.00 each at CNA. Incredible Eruption/Corruption/Concoction/Sucktion is kinda gay.

@ StarBound, comics at one point did receive the same flak that games are getting now. Also for some of the graphic content contained therein. Obviously guys like Spiderman and Superman weren't always the hardcore versions we were introduced to later on - they never bled, neither did the villains, a...

I'm not of the opinion that PC gaming is in any kind of trouble, even with piracy being blamed for every games failure to SELL A MILLION COPIES!!!1111oneoneone For one, downloadable games (Steam, Gametap etc) have started taking up a huge chunk of the market and have been consistently growing pretty...

so no one can really say what effect it will have on the kid. Do you want to take th chance and make a mistake, and at the end of the day he ends up being a bit "off" for the rest of his life. Having a nervous twitch, talking to himself and referring to other people as "appetizers&qu...

I have been asking myself that same thing ever since I finished it.

You meet quite a few characters through-out the game and when that guy pops up he seems familiar but I'll be damned if I can put a name to him

I'd actually forgotten about it - now it's bugging me again. :(

It's not like Homeworld in that you don't have just your fleet, but rather lots of fleets and obviously planets to colonize and expand.

Is it getting released here anytime soon? It's by the same guys as Galactic Civilizations and hence might be cheap too. They don't spend any cash on copy protection.

3D Realms hasn't really been working on Duke guys. It's been a pet project of the head honcho for a while (ie on the back-burner), but they're actually working on it now (as in all of them). I think Alan Wake has been taking front seat for the last few years. We'll see it, I just don't know if it'll...

Simple. He didn't mean to take so many that his heart would end up stopping, yet he did. Just like when you're cleaning you're seppuku blades it doesn't mean that you want to stab yourself right now. Maybe you just want them to be clean for when the time comes. you know what? Seppuku blades are a da...

People liked him. He doesn't have to be the best actor to have graced our screen in order for people to be sad - especially seeing as he was pretty promising. He also rocked in A Knight's Tale and made 10 Things I hate About You a bearable romantic teen comedy. And from what I've seen he makes a gre...

Oddly enough, I attach the exact opposite value to Bioware. And who said anything about no spellcasting? Read it again people, sheesh. There won't be any spellcasting witch-hunter type characters (a la Paladins and Clerics in D&D) - that's all. I still wish we'd also get Mass Effect. I'm tired o...
