I don't see the point in buying any special edition Xbox 360. When it stops working (only a matter of time) it won't be replaced with the same special edition console.

Metacritic is a site that takes review scores from many popular magazines and websites and returns an average score. So nobody chose that list, its just the average of the scores that the games received this year.

That list is pretty spot on IMO.

WoW, PES 2009 and Gears of War 2.

AFAIK if you use a TV card or something similar you will get SD resolutions. What you want is a cable with a DVI connection on one end and HDMI on the other so you can use it to hook up your PS3 to your monitor (assuming your monitor is HDCP compliant).

Also, with the PS3 you can upgrade your hard drive at any time without voiding the warranty. With the Xbox you have to buy an expensive add on drive.

Just finished Final Fantasy X, the best JRPG I have ever played.

Currently playing GTA IV and its AWESOME.

The doors mask the load times, thats why some of them take a while to open after you shoot it.
