Friggs wrote:I can imagine.... I mean, the ad looks really awesome and it's pretty short. I'd buy a 360 just for this game. very tempting.
Well I am sure that game stores have it on display for folks to try out! Why not give it a bash and then consider if a 360 is a good purchase for you?

What this forum needs

I am sure I am not alone in feeling that this forum is run by people with personal agendas. Not all of them, mind you. But some of them. Frankly I am getting a bit tired of the fact that a handful of these moderators make moderation decisions based entirely on their own personal feelings, instead of...

I went to XBOX-360.co.za and found a dude who was selling his second-hand, with a game. Yes, it was a shot in the dark, but I was very lucky. Very lucky indeed!! :D Friggs - the ads don't even do the game justice, you have to play it to see it in its full glory! It really is the most impressive gam...

Is this thread a joke? I honestly can't tell if it is or not... the "artwork" being posted here is already really, really bad... it all screams of high school level stuff, and is the kind of stuff you should leave in the past, not show on a public website. But I honestly can't tell if the ...

It's not even a very good image - why would anyone claim they'd done it? :? If I was going to steal someones image and claim it was my own, I'd at least find a pic that is actually good.

By most standards, this one is painfully average. And that's being generous.

Nice! Leigh, over at www.xbox-360.co.za we have gaming get-togethers a LOT. Like, tonight there'll be a lot of dudes playing GEARS OF WAR multiplayer, and there's almost always dudes playing COD3 games online in the evenings from around South Africa, so if you keen, check it out and perhaps add you...

I also bought one recently (also got the Premium bundle), and I am really enjoying it! I am currently playing Call of Duty 3, which is great. I also have Dead Rising and Gears of War - both of which are also fantastic. Gears of War has the most stunning graphics I've seen in a game, especially its e...

Iron Maiden is simple and boring. Wow, thanks so much for sharing your enlightening wisdom with all of us. It's been about a month - bought the new Iron Maiden CD - A Matter of Life and Death, it's definately one of their best! Great choice!! I was visiting my parents in Cape Town when it was released in Europe, and I shelled out R650 to courier a copy of it from the UK down to CT so I could have it rig...

I'm surprised to see so many people with U2 on their lists - didn't you guys see them when they toured SA in 1998? It was an awesome show. Regarding Bono... yeah sometimes he does seem to have his head a little too far up his own bottom, but personally I don't have a problem with him. Sure, Africa n...

I believe you're thinking of the Finnish band Lordi (who are like a European version of GWAR). Samael is very underground - they'd never be in Eurovision.

Jak sie masz! I saw this film when it opened in London and it's a real screamer. There are parts of the film that are just. so. wrong. I can't wait for the DVD - I bet there are going to be loads of cut scenes in the extras. Parts of the film are definitely staged though. But most of it is genuine, ...

Iv never heard of that band! What type of metal? what is it similar to? They've changed a lot over the years... they used to play stuff very squarely in the vein of very dark European black metal. But then they changed a lot... I guess the closest comparison I can think of is Rammstein. Except they...

If someone writes something as history it is because he intends it to be read as history. If he wants it to be read as, say, poetry, he will write it in poetic style. Genesis 1 is in historical narrative style , which leads naturally to the conclusion that the author intended us to read it as histo...

I'd love to see Goldfrapp, and Peter Gabriel. I saw Gabriel briefly at the excellent (and charitable!) 46664 show in Cape Town a few years back, but I'd love to see a whole show of his because he's one of my favourite artists. I've already seen most of my favourite bands live. Later this month I am ...

I'm not sure that oil is a good idea for painting onto metal cases with. You're not likely to get a smooth texture, not to mention that even covering it with a clear seal will not protect the paint from chipping (which oil is likely to do).
