KotoR works just fone under Vista. Like Interfan said, just right click the shortcut and run as administrator. I get safedisc issues if I try to run normally but as administrator it works like a charm.

How much are you upping the vCore with? Maybe make it a little less? Are you using stock cooling or and aftermarket cooler? You are basically trying to achieve a 33% OC so there are many things that could go wrong.

Of course you can just install a proper operating system.

If he runs anything by Symantech (Norton Antivir w/e) remove it, that could be the problem 0x1000007e is a Firewall Problem And pigs can fly. :lol: According to MSDN it's a memory violation error. This sounds like a memory/bios issue. Swop out the ram and reset the bios (with the jumper if it has one otherwise remove battery for a few minutes). Unfortunatly if any components are failing the PC will power up but not completely. If none of this works remove the memory completely and switch on t...
