Ok so just anothe question. I need this laptop to perform in the range of a destktop PC running a 2.41 ghz AMD x2 processor also ith 2gb of ram. Is there any way to compare these processors or a benchmark that would give me an idea. Don't want to end up buying a 2ghz processor if 1.6 wouls suffice.

Installed game off DVD, the the game needs the DVD to run.

It only happens when trying to run from a disc, otherwise everything is fine, making and running images works fine.

When ever I try to run a game off a CD Windows throws up a blue screen, saying stuff about me having to check if my computer has enough free disk space and to turn off memory caching and shadowing and such... I have more than 30GB free space, and the newest drivers for both my DVD rom drive and grap...

Using the cmd.exe command in the run menu, the dos window opens fine. When i type in a command, any caommand even dir... it executes correctly but then when i try and run anthoer command say cd, a small box appears in the dos window which says "Enter Command Number: " You can enter numbers...
