That is sad to hear if true. I'm still around on Mybroadband, not really big on Twitter and Facebook.

Re: can anyone cut me ubuntu 32 and 64bit dvd in the east ra

Unfortunately I'm in out east of PTA, but if you can't find it anywhere else, I'll gladly give it to you. For LPI you will also need some redhat experience, so you will need something like Fedora Core or CentOS. There was quite a few questions relating to Redhat package management in mine.

Re: PSU need more 8pin ATX connectors

18 AWG refers to the thickness of the copper of the wire. It tells you how much current a wire can carry.

Re: PSU need more 8pin ATX connectors

I don't see why they need all the power connectors on the motherboard. Your CPU can pull 84W. That molex can handle 8A per pin it it use 18 AWG wire. So even a 4pin can handle 16A, more than double of what you need. 2x 8 pin can handle 64A or 768W at 12V. I wouldn't worry about it. Even if you overc...

Re: PSU need more 8pin ATX connectors

Aside from my GTX280 I don't have a lot of pc building experience, but lets have a look from the electronic side. That card can pull 400W peak from what my quick google skills revealed. That mean 33.4A at 12V across all connectors. From what I can gather the molex connector can deliver a max of 11A ...

Had the same issue for my GTX280 way back when. Used a combination of this and this. Not those exactly, but close enough.

Re: Well this is all very inconvenient.

Are you willing to kill someone? Yes. The moment he attacks me he has already forfeit his right to life. He will also not be able to hurt anyone afterwards. Are you willing to train many many hours a week with your knife / gun in order to become proficient enough to be able to hit an adrenaline (an...

Re: Well this is all very inconvenient.

Sorry to hear man. Since the 7th the crime in our area also shot up. Every day someone in robbed, attacked or killed, some days even 3 incidents. It was very quite before that. Guess everyone should invest in a weapon, and practice using it. Even a knife in a committed persons hands is worth gold. B...

Re: Opensuse 13.1 repository disks

Most of the time you pull the updates from the web. The packages are being updated at such a rate that even if you do a daily update, you will find new packages every day. I had a quick look on mirror.ac.za, but I don't see any add on DVDs, just the ISOs and then a web repository. Do you have the fu...

They are U.FL connectors. A real PITA to work with though, tends to come loose or break every opportunity they can.
