Os, office version? software conflict sounds most likely. Have you tried plugging the modem in once office is running? Tried a different usb port? Wondering if anyone has a fix for this, everytime I plug in my USB 3g modem i cant open up any MSOffice apps, they just hang and as soon as i unplug the modem they go in and work perfectly.
