Ok so the update OVI suite didn't solve the issue but I did find the problem.
The standard Nokia OVI suite creates the vlive APN for Vodacom connections. I removed that and created the standard APN and it's working 100%.

Re: Windows 7 (Ultimate and Enterprise) and Nokia OVI internet
Already running v35.0.002 . Loaded that a while ago when it first came out. I've updated OVI to 2.1.0.87 which hopefully sorts the issue out. I will give it a try over the weekend and see how it holds up.
Thanx for the help.

Windows 7 (Ultimate and Enterprise) and Nokia OVI internet
Hi all, I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise on my laptop and Ultimate on my office pc and I use Nokia OVI suite via a N82 to connect to the net. I fire up a connection and I can use the net but it freezes up and stops receiving data. It sends but receives nothing. Sometimes it freezes after 15min and o...

Re: Top Box for Motorcycles
The Fazer is a hectically underestimated bike. 2 up I cruised at averagely 165-170km/h and got about 20km/l. And through places like Outeniqua Pass I could still scrape pegs. So plenty of usable power and some great handling.

Re: Top Box for Motorcycles
Sorry haven't been around here in a long while so it might explain the long delay for reply. I did the trip from PTA - Mosselbay and back, off all of the highways on a Yamaha Fazer 600. I was looking at renting a bike to do it because it wasn't going to be comfortable 2 up on my R6. I went to Singap...

Re: Top Box for Motorcycles
Thats the Givi box by the looks of it. Check Linex Yamaha in Randburg for them. In terms of affecting the handling...it more depends on what and how you pack. Try and pack things so that they stay in place and are evenly weighted from left to right then you shouldn't feel it. I rode from PTA to Moss...

Re: Distro Sharing
I don't like being annoying, but since you seem really keen, send me Debian. (Or which is your preferred distro at the moment?) Definately Debian atm!!!! ArchLinux (even though it only has min packages) and Gentoo are awesome, but that would scare you So I'll send Debian. Just know what L...

Re: Distro Sharing
Good thread this! Haven't been on here for a long time. See there's plenty of new faces around. I have Ubuntu 8.10 and Mandriva Free 2009 What I am looking for is a few older Distro's such as Suse and Mandrake. Who has older versions of this and what versions? And if I could get my hands on that Ope...

An idea to minimise children seeing getting to porn sites is that when you sign your contract with your ISP they are legally forced to ask you if you want services like NETNanny or one of those online checking services. Same as when you buy a new car. The dealership is legally forced to ask you if y...
