Re: Designing a mod in Sketchup

Heya Feo :) How long does it take to draw the Sketchups? Well, the one i did for Endorphin, this one: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/DAE_JA_VOO/Genocide/01small.jpg Took me about 20 hours to do, more or less. How long did it it take you to learn how to do it? Took me about 5 hours to get it...

There you will find most of the lesser models you need :)
Thanks, saw that over at bit-tech :) . So do think the non-pro version of Sketchup is sufficient to model the case mods?

Also, got any links to written/video tutorials? Stuff that you maybe found helpful?

Yeah well I have Sketchup and I've watched some tutorial vids but I know that's definitely not enough info to draw a case mod. Like for example, the fans, how do you do that? It's not just blocks that you push and pull to change sizes. Also, DAE, are you sketckups to scale i.e. do you use exact meas...

Designing a mod in Sketchup

OK, this question is directed at DAE. Actually I've only seen DAE draw sketchups of his mods but anyone that's used Sketchup to preplan their case mod can also post here. How long does it take to draw the Sketchups? How long did it it take you to learn how to do it? Do you have some sort of qualific...

Where do I get quality cable sleeving from?

Hi guys I read the Cable Sleeving Guide thread and I'm in PTA and I'd like to know where I can get good cable sleeves from. I'm looking for some neon colours for the cables inside my case and normal (spiral) cable sleeves, like the kind Verimark advertises on TV. Or anything that sorts out cables bu...

How about a digg style review site, ask users of the site to submit fairly detailed reviews of (new(ish)) hardware and only the top reviews get promoted to the front page for everyone to read.

The way Prince got out last match really p1ssed me off. I mean losing tons of wickets early and he goes out there and chases after a ball that was wider than wide. And Smith said that we didn't choke, go figure...eish

btw, I can't remember if it was mentioned earlier, but Heroes is definitely coming to SABC3. If you go to www.sabc3.co.za and check the On-Air Schedule, go to 23 May and Heroes is premiering at 20:31. This is a huge scoop for SABC3, managing to get the biggest show in the world currently, before MN...

Yeah Rayne is right and the guy that posted the 17" comment meant that a 17" LCD's native res is 1024x768 and the GTS won't even crack a sweat running games at that res with everything maxed.
