Re: World of Warcraft Thread!
nah....but that woudlnt make sense to me. Its not like I'm constantly moving the wow folder all over the place. Even a fragmented hdd woudlnt cause such an extreme loss in performance when settings are on minimum.

Re: World of Warcraft Thread!
I will try that....but doubtful its gonna work since I've had the same performance on both cards.....and didnt have this issue 2 weeks ago. Like I mentioned, no settings were changed, no hardware was changed. It was fine 1 week, and the next week things go wonky. 10fps in SW is seriously bad for the...

Re: CellC Gaming
Got the dongle installed over the weekend. Logged into Stormwind where ping usually gets quite anal. I was only in for about 5 minutes but the ping was in the low 400's and was gradually dropping. I'm sure it would round off to less than 400. Signal strength seemed constant at 98% so I am quite happ...

Re: All about Smartphones and Tablets...
sup peeps. just a quick update after testing the s2 battery mentioned before:
I got 5 days 14hours off it last week. Primarily phone calls with a few sessions of web surfing and gaming.
all in all, APN on/of works like a charm:)

just about to hit 4 full days. Battery on roughly 50%.
Been using it this week as a 'dumb' phone, but couldnt resist a few odd occasions of facebooking and google searching. Will take a snapshot when it is about to die:)

Re: CellC Gaming
Cant get the 21mb stick unfortunately. 280-350 is what most adsl users in SA get.
Ideally, I would just like a constant signal with lowest ping. If I get 400 - 450 with the 7.2mb stick, I'll be happy. Hell, even a constant 600 would be enough to enjoy raiding.

Re: CellC Gaming
The iBurst consultant said that the CellC 7.2 Mbps dongle is essentially 7 times faster than the iBurst modem.
I have requested the upgrade, and will hopefully be getting the dongle tomorrow.
Guess we shall see how things go:)

Hey all, Last night I pretty much gave up with my ISP. I used to play a lot of WOW, but have cut down a lot, leaving one night a week dedicated to playing. I have been using iBurst for a few years and for the most part it has been ok. But having 1 night a week dedicated to my gaming leaves little or...

Also, I have not seen the task manager on the HTC. It might be a samsung thing on the S2. Not sure if you can get...
