Shamo!

This is by far the best manga that I've read, you get to live yourself into the life of Ryo Narushima. He murdered his parents when he was just 16 and as a result got sent to Juvenile Prison where he could serve a maximum of 2 years according to the law. In time he learns to take care of himself in ...

Re: Naruto discussions here

Alot of people don't like Naruto, just ask Rayne ;) What you must realize is that people would rather watch a decent anime that is worth the time than watch one that have the same things happen over and over, just with different enemies. (example: Kagebunshin) Same applies for manga, although the Na...

Re: What you just watched and thoughts on it

I'm somewhat perplexed as to how I managed to complete Rosario + Vampire. Every aspect about it was mediocre and bland, not bad, but not exceptional either. Something I usually won't endure for than 3 episodes. Perhaps I should get the second season and find out how it kept me glued. Moving on to a...

Re: What you just watched and thoughts on it

The other night I finished what was probably one of the best anime I've seen. N.H.K ni Youkoso (Welcome to the NHK) This is a drama with a fair amount of humor, there are almost no action scenes as this is the story of a Hikikimori who meets a girl that tries to "fix" him, curing him from ...

Ok...lets see if we can't help here. The G5000 series motherboard is based on the older Pavilion DV5000. To get the drivers required you would need to look at the exact model number on the chips. Opening the covers at the bottom would work for most of them, not all unfortunately. Check the top downl...

For me most knowledge and know how comes from trial and error. My uncle use to have PC's (XT - X286) and I would stare in awe of this white thing which he'd use for games umong other things. So he built my dad one which my mother used for work, man DOS 3.x was the shizne. There were a couple of time...

Fresh install of Windows XP takes forever to load

Hi Guys, This weekend I decided to swap hardware configs from Intel 478 to AMD 939. In doing this I also did a fresh installation of Windows XP, even during the first reboot it would take forever to load into Windows. Once Windows loads everything seems to work without any problems. I thought that i...

Maybe as a last resort before reinstalling Windows you could try resetting Winsock.

from the command line type: "Netsh Winsock Reset" (without quotes) and hit enter.

yip, 56k PCI is useless. You should be able to buy a driver which they claim to work but who knows.

or you could type:

sudo rm -rf /

which would be better suited

You could check dxdiag. See if you can run DX7, DX8 and DX9 tests. I've had it before where I'd be able to run DX7 and DX8 fine but would experience artifacts once the DX9 test was executed.
