COD:MW2 on the ps3 is 1080p, Legendary, Clive Barkers Jericho, Dragon age:Origins, most others are all 720p/1080i, as for the 360, all the games can be played in 1080p although some are just upscaled and it looks terrible. Gears of war 2 though looks pretty good at 1080p

Anyone know where I can get a DVI or VGA splitter cable? needed for 2 inputs going into one monitor.

The original US ps3 had ps2 hardware, the european one we got had ps2 software emulation, it was later removed with the 40 and 80 gig versions to cut costs, as such it's unlikely they will bring it back. my original 60 bought the farm when the blue ray laser died, so the new ones really don';t have ...

The early 60 gig ps3's were compatible with ps2 and ps1 games, none of the 80 or 40 gig units are.

or just push "command+Q" to shut down an app.

havent tried a keyboard and mouse yet, but the gamepad works well

It is, really, there are a few reasons for this, apart from the 360 being a bit iffy. Here's an example: Gears of war and Unreal tournament 3 use the same engine, Gears of war can stutter a little where unreal 3 runs like a charm on the ps3. It's just that it might cost more, but it will last longer...

I own an HDTV, the ps3 and the 360, trust me, ps3 is better.

the option is there for those who want to do more than play games or use it for media. You don't have to stream movies etc if its on an external drive, just an option....one more than the 360 does

Get the ps3, you can install linux directly on it and it picks up any drives, keyboards and mice via usb....I own both the 360 and ps3 and the ps3 is light years ahead of the xbox.

I use both XP and Vista on my mac through parallels, and seriously, rather run the games on XP, I have not tried bootcamp yet, but I believe the performance difference is not so much.

rustypup, please don't take this personally, the different reality you are referring to, as far as the ps3 is concerned, other than burning a cd, the ps3 does do, what a pc does, but I didn't come here to argue or attack anyone personally, what I was trying to do was just to stop some of this closed...

Tell you what, anyone that wants a dvd with game vids from E3, which include xbox and ps3 in game videos, let me know. No piracy, these are demo videos of things to come.

Moses, I beg to differ, maybe the xbox, maybe, but not the ps3, maybe when drivers are fine, and there are pc's using the cell processor and microsoft can get over it's awful operating system, then maybe, but who knows, only time will tell.
