Re: Help finding/understanding antennae
Hi Bandit They network card you have there is essentially a laptop network card, which requires the very small connectors This is the best example I could find. I believe they are called Micro Connectors but i stand to be corrected http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v92/garpg/Pushbutton-antenna-for-M...

Re: Speakers
I have a pair of the Logitech Z623's which can pump out a fair amount of amazing sound... Enough to annoy the neighbours. But I think they go for around R1500 to R2000. If you can stretch your budget, you can't really go wrong with this 2.1 THX System (this is the same pair Starbound is talking abou...

Re: My mother's old Laptop
A lot of Mobile graphics cards (ie, the nVidia "GO" series) use drivers never intended for gaming, and are often incompatible/simple just 'don't play nice' with some games.Rajiv wrote:Yes the game would not start up.

Re: My mother's old Laptop
The specs are as follows: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.66GHz, 512MB of RAM, nVidia GeForce 448 Go, Windows XP Service Pack 3. Is that all you need? thats really not bad for a simple office/internet type PC... should even handle most media just fine. I'd upgrade the RAM to at least 1gig and, if the machine...

Re: 20 mhz Increase really made that difference?
Not an OC guru, but that's weird stuff, I reckon it could possibly happen...I mean, I have a similar (unsolved) case of where, when I had one graphics card in, a certain game was almost unplayable, but put a second card in of the same make, not connected to anything and it was smooth as can be :? An...

A bit of a late reply, but for any other battling iburst users out there... The Omni Directional Antenna they have, significantly improves your signal strength.... That is what I thought, but I dont know what others using this card are getting. I suppose I will start looking for a better cooler \ Did a quick search, and some peoples fans were only going up to 30% on "automatic" control. Don't have an Nvidia card anymore so not sure how one would che...

DId you come right with your i7? Mine was exactly the same temps when I installed it with the stock cooler... Took it off and found the cooler seems "warped" for lack of a better word and was barely making any contact with the cpu. I could tell because after taking it off, i could see the ...

Well up in the highveld here I used to use 95 in my lil 1.3 Bantam... Maybe it was in my head but 95 gave it slightly better performance than 93, which on the 1.3 you needed all you could get!

What breaks my heart is clocking that amount of kilo's on the GSXR- not the service intervals or any such things. These bikes ar...
