Alraaitie then, I managed to do the watertubing, just generally routing to get a feel for the layout, and been adding water to the system and priming the pump. Well, one tiny leak, right where the brass barb went into the rad, the one coming from the pump discharge, and man o man, these DD5's pumps ...

Hello Guys, Ok, a brief update: I took some photos of the gfx cards installed in the case, look at all that copper real-estate - even LordRage would be proud of me ;) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/MrBean_PM/New%20Lian%20Li%20Silver/GFX%20Watercooling/gfx_far.jpg and http://img.photobucket.c...

Mmm...I would tend to say that the low freq harmonics will eventually cause dry-joints to form on the solder connections. Imho this is not a good practise, rather not have the sub so loud when you drive, as it can and will eventually lead to loose components/bad connections. Another thing, it might ...

OK, get me 4 elbows please 1/4" NPT and for 3/8 ID Tubing... Where are you going to use the 1/4" NPT fittings exactly? Wrt mounting the rad, I would have mounted it in the front, immediately below the drive bays, standing vertically.....or flat on the floor of the case..... If it is not p...

Is an Aopen 400 Watt PSU good enough to run this P.C.

P4 3.0Ghz
1GB ram
2 80gb hd's
Ati X850Xt Pe AGP
Gigabyte 3D Rocket cooler
It is fine ;) That supply would be good to support that cpu at over 4gig, with same hardware combo, without issues.

Enjoy.

@ Rabbi:

Asus P4GD1 motherboard is socket 478, that will accept CT-479 adapter, and has 1x PCI Express 16x slot for grafix ;)

Very nice, fast, and relatively cheap combo :)

I dont have anything against Intel if they could make there current proc's like Pentium M with a few extra horsepower and instruction sets then INtel would be in the top for everything stock or overclocked.
Merom and COnroe to your service - keep a lookout for them within 1st half of this year ;)

You don't get 3gig Dotties - highest is 2.26gig.

You overclock them to 3gig, with proper cooling - and patience ;)

Hehe - very true, Byron ;)

Guys, off-topic, but for those non-believers that doubts Intel's Pentium-M power:

Check this single Dothan, single GFX 50k 3dM01 score

That is power, and loads of it.....

Well done, HiPro.

I have a MX518, MX1000, and G7 - and the G7 is by far the best - extremely smooth, fit's even better in my big hands than the MX1000

An absolute pleasure ;)

Now go on open your eyes, there, it wasn't so difficult, was it? ;) You get one of those 955XE's, and one FX60, put them both under the same cooling, clock them to max, and m...

Hi Guys, Thanx for the replies ;) @Wikid: Yip, I originally planned using the Abit AN8 Fatality SLi (which I had anyway) for this mod, but then sold the Pentium-M rig, got the Asus A8N32 SLi, and decided on using it for the mod, becuase of the slightly bigger space between 2 gfx cards..... They will be fine, as long as you provide some airflow across them during heavy gaming sessions. They are good coolers.
