Been thinking how to mount the dvd rom in it's new slot, actually I had a plan from the beginning, thinking back many years to my Aopen H800A server case, in which the stiffy drive was positioned, and mounted in similar fashion... So, after 20minutes in the garage, Dremel, and filing action, I came ...

@ Demoraliser: I used a dremel (original one), with fiber re-inforced cutting disks, and then a fine-toothed metal file for cleanup. It was a little more difficult than usual, as I made the cut with everything installed, so I had to mask everything off to prevent aluminium dust ingress. Thanx for th...

Ah Well, I had the same idea as you though, either rad on top and res's on the side, or vice versa. Quick question - another "idea" Why can't you mount rad on the floor of the case, make a nice plexi base for it to sit on, say, 2cm from the floor? Then, res's on the side panel to improve t...

OK, what are they called? ermmm....temp sensors ;) But you'll have to find a method how to make a non-restrictive inline probe then and mount it. I would just mount it in the reservoir anyway, a lot easier, cleaner, less restrictive, and 100% as functional. @ Slasher:Thanx for the comments, I agree...

I just want a sensor that I can put in the flow of water, then hook it up to a Cooler Master Aerogate 2... @ DJV: Another idea, even better, as the res's are a little lonely on top - why not rather mount them on the side panel? The one on the rh side as you face your case from the front.

So, something like a 45 degree angle.....consider it at least, it gives you one more option ;)

MrBean...where can I get a Inline Water Temp Meter? Err...make one? Not difficult, if you want only a temp sensor that can input to a digital doc etc.....would be either thermistor based, or you could use 1n4148 signal diode as the sensor, and assemble a Intersil 7106 3 1/2 digit lcd circuit yourse...

Good, after 3 successive 3dMark03 complete runs, I am glad to report that the highest recorded temperature was 41 deg C - that down from approx 68-72deg C before on stock air. Impressive, but no doubt because of this high flowrate the DD5 delivers. I would say a approx 30deg C drop ain't bad - yes, ...

Would look stunning.
