Okay, some people may think that having a phone that can do all this funny stuff is rediculous. Let them be. Some of us just have a keen interest in what new gimmicks do. I preordered an ngage last year. After receiving it, I was sorely dissapointed with what was loaded in terms of entertainment. So...

I agree. I have games dating back many years. I spent hard cash for sum of them. The thing is, I don't think paying for a game should be like paying for a service like Telkom. It's like sometimes u worry about a bill. Sometimes u forget to pay and then u can't play ur game for the rest of the month....

Okay, so u have a problem. (Don't we all) The Gigabyte GA8-INXP ONLY supports up to 533 without overclocking. That is your main problem and possibly your only problem. The funny part only comes in here. I 2 have that mobo and the troubles with it are very annoying. Im running a processor that the bo...

Telskum wants all of my money!!
Yes, they bloody well did it again. second month in a row. They cut my line again. What happened? I phoned them and made an arrangement that my phone bill will be paid in full by the 25th of August. This was at the end of last month. The representative said okay. That will be fine. To my surprise, t...

Intel or AMD
If it´s high performance u want, get intel. If buying an AMD is gonna make u think u got good bang for buck, think again. I think that intel has even more potential there than AMD. Why do I say so? AMD fry and burn out and whatever whenever u overclock it. Intel machines will do so too but the fact ...

Every so often I have to work on some school computers. Trust me when I say, not one of them is safe! Mostly p1 200´s but there are a few Pentium 4´s. The worst of the batch caught me for almost a week. 6 hours a day. All machines were 486sx machines with 16mb ram. Hell, u wait quite some time insta...

Not true entirely. I bank with Standard but I use absa isdn. I only wish I never went with Telscum in the first place. If only I knew. Oh, and log on to www.absa.co.za ...

If you are using ISDN connection @ 64k all the time (ISP doesn´t give 128k access) be aware that as of September 1st, u can be paying more than you should. To make sure this doesn´t happen, double click on you dial up icon. Select properties. and make sure there that you only have one device selecte...

TELKOM,ISDN A Load OF CRAP!!!!!!
ISDN 2a is required to add a phone while surfing. If you are looking for an isp that cat cater 128k access for cheap, id reccomend absa. I use absa now and my speeds are blistering enough @ round 14k/s. Be aware though that when you connect @ 128k, u pay double 4 phone costs.

So, u wanna know a little more? Search no more. Here are a simple test u can do. Download a 3mb file using the 56k modem. Record the time it takes. Now download the same file using an isdn modem. Nevermind. I told the secretaries and headmaster to leave the internet alone and stick to their work. Funny enough, they all agreed that that was a good idea. haha it feels funny calling my old teachers by their first names.

I also had a few run ins with Telscum on a number of occasions. When i started up on the internet a few months back, all this isdn stuff was new to me. I phoned telkom and asked if i could get 128k connection on my line via Telscum internet. The rep said yes, so I sign up. I dial up, boom 64k. I pho...
