Be thankful it's the 7th - My RAM (I'm ordering from Take2.co.za) is only arriving at their place on the 14th! Then they still have to ship it to me! So looks like by the end of next week I'll have everything except the RAM - very useful PC it will be without RAM!! I should be up and gaming by end o...

True - but an extra R1000 is a bit steep. Also so long as this mobo supports all the components that I'm buying for it now - it should be fine. Trying to future proof is very difficult. Also we don't know what better things besides maybe PCIe 2.0 there will be? Maybe USB 3? I'm not going to upgrade ...

:P thanx GatsbyDyt! I have been holding out for a new PC for 2 years now - I need to get something decent. Gonna buy Crysis and the Orange Box too. The X38 chipsets are a bit more pricey - suppose due to the fact that they support DDR3. I did look at them, but I'm not going to buy DDR3 now - way too...

I'm also in the market for RAM (well a whole system anyways). But my dilemah is slightly different! I can't decide if I should buy 2Gb DDR2 800 or 4Gb? Take2 has OCZ ReaperX HPC 4GB kit (2 x 2Gb modules) for R2042? I have XP x64 so recognising the 4Gb won't be a problem. I had no idea that all 32bit...

Games for Girls
I'm looking for a decent game for my wife. She's quite into the Sims2 thing, and has most of the add-ons that are available, but she wants something new now. And damn is it difficult to find something that is girly, and is a decent game. She doesn't want any fps games, especially if it contains mons...

Yea - it's a domain. The DNS settings are pretty much default. Our setup is basically a normal network. We have 2 networks, one for the e-mail etc. and one industrial network - for the SCADA systems and energy measuring equipment. Some of our machines we've changed over from Windows 2000 to Windows ...

Slow Network Issue
I'm running Windows Server 2003 R2 on some of the workstations at work, and every now and then their networks start to run really slowly. By accident we came up with a solution to disable the LAN connection and then re-enable it again. This speeds the network up to its proper speed. Does anyone know...

Sweet Law - wish I could have been there. Watched at home - Sharks were lucky to pull things straight, the game started to go a bit pair-shaped in the beginning of the second half for the sharks. Lol - Butch James dummied the cr@p out of those two Blues players when he went over for his try!!! I lov...
