okay tanx alot Hman

the gs 700 specs says it comes with an 8pin atx connector NOT a 4+4pin atx connector
now if its a full 8pin it cannot b separated in half resultin in it not fitting on my m/b
please can u clarify this issue without a doubt please?

just wanted some info on the 'Corsair GS 700 watt power supply"
i have an Intel DP67BA motherboard
my problem is my m/b has a 4pin ATX connector and the power supply says it comes with a 8pin ATX connector
i wana know if the ATX connector on this power supply can b used on this m/b?

so should i get isopropyl alcohol n use that...or just take my chances with acetone
has anybody used acetone to remove thermal paste?

okay man thats sumtin to watch for...i jst on anoda forum now about acetone and using it to remove thermal paste...acetone doesnt seem lyk a good option

hay guys i bought a new heatsink its a Hyper 212 EVO
now i just wanted to know wats the best way to clean the thermal pate of my cpu so i can install my new cpu cooler?

i have acetone,can this be used or do i need other things

howzit guys i ran the tests ANAKHA56 said to do on furmark i ran the test for 10mins the max temp my gpu went up to was 85 c on prime95 in the torture test window i ran each test for 10min: -small FFTs my max temps wer: 79 82 83 80 -in-place large FFTs: my pc FROZE (had 2 restart computer manually) ...

is my GPU temp okay thou?

i am contemplating to buy an aftermarket cooler,did some research and the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ seems to be highly recomended

where can i purchase 1 of these and how much am i going to spend?

i just played BFBC2,on max settings
my cpu temp-69 c
my gpu temp-74 c
are these readings okay?

and my pc did not freeze thou,but if im playing for couple hours then it freezes

my pc idle's at about 30-35 c...guys do u tink i need a cpu cooler?
@slim i reseated my stock cooler but seems to be running at same temps,maybe my cooler is faulty or something

hay guys thanx for da replies especially "Molean" dats a killa so when my pc freezes the screen just jams on wat is showing and the sound is lyk wen a button onda keyboard jams and it types the same letter 1way...hard to explain its lyk "ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd...

while in gameplay my pc just freezes,cant even press ctrl-alt-delete to go to task manager...have to restart the computer by holding down the power button This problem mainly occurs in battlefield bad company 2,gta episodes from liberty city,mafia 2...this problem occurs on my other games but not so...

the thing is i dont do overclocking man so i guess a stock cooler should be sufficient for me...maybe later on i might get an aftermarket cooler

hay guys thanks alot for the help and ideas...my comp is working fine now...im using real temp & core temp to monitor my temps
on idle 35-40c
on load 60-65c
i changed the cooler (still stock cooler thou) and everything worked fine

Im still a little sceptical about my bios temps i dnt knw why...

okay man but howcum the bios posts such high temp?

hay guys im back with an update with my pc,i installed windows7 and ran a temp program its called 'microsoft cpu temp'...
at idle i got 35c
at load at 65-70c

should i still be worryied about my bios temps?

yeah it was quite evenly spread...most of the other guys wer abt 50-60degrees in the bios and they installed windows and ran realtemp and got idle temps between 30-40 and on load between 60-70... Can anyone with the same cpu and stock cooler tell me wat their temps are and does anyone know wat is ap...

used a pea drop in the centre and i let the cooler apply it evenly wen its being installed...do you tink my processor is faulty?
