To be honest, I wouldn't bet my life on the bios temps, but have a look at the CPU fan settings in your bios, perhaps turn it up a bit and use the bios readings as a gauge to see if it helps. Idle temps should be about 30c, give or take a few degrees. You sure that the cooler is set properly on the CPU? Also have you installed any software to monitor the temps, if so what are they reading?

Hey J_Bay, I reckon you have a very good line up there. But I'm with Slimshaedy on the P67 vs Z68 mobo. If you get a Z68 that meets all your requirements go for it, but alternatively look for a P67 as they tend to be cheaper.

Don't sell the 2500k short, it is an awesome chip and more than capable to handle anything you through at it currently and I think it will be for some time to come as well.
