Re: Software business idea
It is funny, but I have spoken to someone else before about this. I do software development, and someone told me that the pharmacy where he buys his meds uses an old computer system, and he saw another POS type of program I developed for someone else. So I do think it is a good idea, did not say it ...

Re: USB Ports not working in Windows 7
It is my back ports. I have 6 ports at the back grouped in pairs. When I plug the modem of flash drive into the ports that is not working, nothing comes up on the device manager. There is no exclamation marks. It is if the device manager is not even detecting that something is plugged into that port...

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
I will look around for such a fan. I agree it is not Matrix fault for the gfx card being faulty. I have bought some decent parts there in the past and this was the first product that I got there, that has been faulty. But I will stay far away from Forsa in the future and make sure I warn anyone, thi...

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
Well I already killed the warranty by making a little hole in the one blade of the fan, to add a little copper ball made of copper wire to add some weight to the fan. I saw that if you add some weight to the one side it spins fine for now. I know it is going to die soon, and I'm looking for an old c...

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
Well I'm already trying to figure out how I'm going to mount a 120mm fan in the case, so that it can blow directly onto the gpu. I played around with the gpu fan, since it is already faulty and saw that if a put something on the fan, I used prestic, the fan actually spins normally. The problem with ...

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
Can you replace the fan on the gpu with a new one, or a better faster one. Are the fan and heatsink holes than a standard size, almost like the cpu fans?

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
I saw the fan on the card is hardly spinning, I used the msi afterburn and set the fan speed to 90%, but the fan spins very slow. When I tick the fan it spins fast for about 2 seconds and then slows down again

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
In the NVidia control panel, there is no option to control the speed of the fan, it does not even say what the fan speed is. Will try the afterburn. I just checked with gpu-z and my temp was 86C

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
Yes, I just switch the power off at the psu and when I switch it on again, there is no problem. Yes I'm using the monitor speakers. I opened the case and checked the graphics card fan, it hardly spins. Can that be the problem? Is there any software that I can get to control my gpu fan?

Re: Computer crashes while playing games
No I doubt if it can be heating, as the pc is not even a month old, and I have a i3 cpu, and I can't see that FIFA10 can stress it enough so that it can overheat. Plus the pc does not shut down, it is still running, but the screen is blank, it says it lost the signal, and the sound is gone, but the ...

Re: Can't detect my GT430 in Win 7 64-bit
It only has one. I can't see why it will be the slot as it works fine in my other OS. It is just in the 64-bit where it does not see the card.
