Re: GTX 470. is the heat really a big issue
I found out that even though my mobo will be triple channel I can stick 1 ram board in and it uses it.
If u stick 6 in,it'll start from the first one,use the memory up and move on to the next.

Re: GTX 470. is the heat really a big issue

But sorry I know iv asked countless questions but I think iv settled on the card for me. The gigabyte HD5850, with twin fan and has a slight oc. Thanks everyone fo...

GTX 470. is the heat really a big issue
I'm looking at the GTX470 but it runs at a super high heat so I guess overclocking is outta the question.
Has anyone had experience with the card? Is it way better than the HD5850 or is the heat a big issue that can't be ignored

HD5850 aftermaket coolers
Which is the best Aftermarket cooler for the 5850 in your opinions?
I'm looking at getting the sapphire version and sticking a zalman vf3000a on top of it.
Its such a sexy cooler but guru3d rates it badly. So I don't know?
I want to overclock it wen I get it so I want decent cooling
