Re: Starting over, need some advice.
Good point Smilidon! I think its worth waiting for UEFI and Sandy Bridge to be released and then upgrade. Because as soon as those are released your pc is gonna be outdated. And 15K is more than enough for a decent rig.
I'm so due for an upgrade its ridiculous! Hence no specs in my sig hehe.

Re: Pc Randomly Restarts
Try upgrading your drivers and get yourself a temperature app. My pc did exactly the same and it was due to the weather!
On a hot day I had to open windows and blow a fan on my case! So just keep an eye on the temperature, that could very well be the cause.
Those were the days hahaha

brainstorming for wireless network idea
Hey guys I live in an estate and I wanna start up a wireless network. I'll get uncapped adsl and provide that to the 26 houses wirelessly, through a server. I'm not sure if 1 router can cover the area of the estate. And I'll have multimedia on the hard drives that they can access wirelessly, like watc...

Re: deleting "locked" files
By the way what kinda files would you want to delete that are locked? I've never had to delete anything of that sort. But wouldn't it be easier just removing attributes through a command line? Then its an ordinary file. PS I've never had to do this but the thought just came to mind... Correct me if ...

Re: intel mobo - dg41rq - network problems
That's very odd,I can't understand why it works fine for a month and then gives trouble. Only thing that comes to mind is your firewall settings? Are you connected to internet? To avoid confusion and hassle I disable firewall altogether, but that's not really the right thing to do,professionally.

Boot up with last known configuration.or boot up in safe mode and troubleshoot from there.
Surely in your bios your hdd is still set as first boot device? I don't see how it could change by itself but check anyway

Re: VMware
It seems everyone has their own personal preference. Research on virtualbox shows that its better than vmware, plus its freeware.
But if I'm having a problem with virtualbox then I'll try another app.

I have some cisco simulator thing. Its all made with flash player,I haven't had a look at it in detail yet,I've played around on the server 2003 sim I have.
Once I have my mcse and I'm in a job then I'll look at doing ccna and mcitp. Coz then I'll at least have experience with cisco systems.
