Ye it's an attractive interface - but that's something that any UI skin can replicate. I'm more concerned with how it's going to differentiate itself - atm it's restricting hardware manufacturers to a very narrow specification - I'm worried that all Winmo7 phones are going to be homologous.

I'm just really really not sold on Windows Mobile 7 yet. But I'm keeping an open mind.

If you have the latest drivers you will have directx11 compatibility automatically. I suspect it has to be a driver issue.

I use my phone in direct sunlight quite a bit - I do a lot of e-reading on it - so sunlight legibility is quite important to me.

I don't think you should be experiencing lags in COD6 with a 5850 on a 1080 screen. I play it completely maxed out with a gtx260 @ 1920x1200 with a 965be and get more or less constant 60fps. A 5850 should be more than comfortable.

DroidX has a fantastic GPU, seems to get close onto double speed of Snapdragon. Ye ryanrich the super amoled technology is very promising. I actually prefer IPS to Amoled currently because of the outdoors viewability being very important to me. I haven't played with Galaxy S but the video comparison...

I'm not sure DroidX is the best phone for SA. Its software is quite specifically designed for US carriers. Did the Droid itself ever reach SA? I don't think it did tbh.

Android can easily be installed via virtualbox.

You won't be able to load Android without some serious hacking. And then half the features won't work. So..... no, not really.
