Hi Guys

During an XP install i partitioned my hard driver in two. Is there a way i can re-join the second partition so it is just one hard driver again and not two partitions without formatting and installing XP again?

Dam i just remembered i have a batchulars party this lan weekend:(( When will the next pcformat lan be?

Someone is giving me a asus 8600gts. At the moment all i have is a 6800xt. My pc specs are not the best. pentium 3ghz with 2gb of ram. With this new card im getting will i be able to run some of the latest games, or do i have to go dual core or higher which i cant go for now.

yea i have done everything. put the cable on port 1 and 2 on the mobo still nothing. i guess my bobo is stuffed.

Is anyone in or arround edenvale that i can get a copy of SuSe from?

PS: I also have the hacking9live distro if anyone is interested.

If you haven't come right try and reset the bios from the motherboard by shortening the pins and check that your ram is good. Also take out your ram and see if the motherboard beep when you turn on with no ram. If it doesnt there is a problem with your mobo or cpu. Most mobos keeps beeping if there ...

also check that you dont have any standoffs shortening the motherboard and if you have a graphics card check that its installed correctly.

I did check and the SATA is enabled. I guess there is something wrong with the sata ports. If i cant get a new pc ill have to swop with my IDE homepc hard driver. I'm soooo tired of installing xp all the time:(

Hi Guys

I had to change my work pc motherboard. The mother boards model number is a p4vma.
I checked the cmos and SAtA is enbaled but once it goes through the post screen the sata 1 and sata 2 says none. What can the problem be? Everything is connected power and sata cable.

I cant afford to upgrade my pc at the moment. I have a 1.8ghz intel pentium processor installed.
I found another processor but an intel celeron 2.4ghz. Will the celeron be better or should i just leave the 1.8 in. I have about R400 if i can find a better processor second hand some where.
