heard a rumour that direct X 9.1 will improve pixelshaders and stuff by 50% on FX cards...i hope its true cos GEEZ...i dont njoy counting the pixels....

the exterior of the TA is cold ALL the time

If you're running XP then go to XP Services and change all the settings in the "Recovery" tab where it says "Restart the Computer" to "Take no Action". Hope this will help. Have you tried to repair your OS, or re-install from fresh? where do i get XP services? i format...

i disabled the onboard lan and popped in an other network card...still reboots

can it have anything to do with the cable?? its a peer to peer cable...as in the cable doesnt go through a HUB but directly from the one pc to an other.

can one see organs with X-Rays??? i thought the use of X-Rays are to see through organs and to see the bones...sonar are used on organs to see if there is any sign of cancer

lets put it this way...i lived my whole life in bloemfontein and i go to a afrikaans skool and has afrikaans parents. So i wouldnt know any english words with the same meaning as the other...

in the flash program thingy it has only the option of "update from floppy" and i had the cd inserted...no luck at all

I have ISDN so its a terminal adaptor...dont think that they can really go wrong. virus definitions are alwayz up to date. dono what WWF is. Idle disconnect is disabled and so is harddrive powerdown ETC.

I have a Gigabyte GA - 8IK1100 mobo...i downloaded a bios update...and i followed the instrutions on how to install it via the flash utl. in the BIOS. from there i can select the bios to update from the FLOPPY/STIFFY drive...the thing is, i dont have one of those :cry: Any other way i can update my ...

u know...this might work...cos it is an onboard LAN adapter...i never trusted onboard stuff!! i'll disable it and see what happens. but why does it only happen when im online? thx 4 the advice

New aopen drives(or the CD burners atleast) have this weird thingy...looks like its there to keep the cds from flying :D I have heard that the CD's start to spin to fast and starts hovering and then hits sumthing which let it explode inside the drive...dono how true it is...but what else is the litt...
