Gigabyte Boards display like that in CPUZ. that voltage is VTT. Vcore was 1.62v

I will be using my 2600k 4870X2 combo and if i find time il test a 5870, 8800GTS 512 and maybe a monster 480GTX.

passmark is meh.

if you want a bench that will give you as close to real world indication of the speed of your system then run Vantage.

Il download it anyway and run it when i get home.

horrible CPU for competitive clocking.

a sandy on even the crappest board at 5ghz will decimate that 975. I mean look at the CPU score that the 2500k got at only 5.15ghz.

Would you mind terribly testing the 975 vs the sandy at the same clock?

That was a LONG time ago. But instead of the dominators i would look at a set of team Xtremes in 2000mhz. Much cheaper and they clock nicely.

you should actually forget about the 1156 platform. 1155 is in and when the i7 chips are out the i5 chips will be cheaper. BUT if you must then get the Gene. Its much better than the LX or GD65.
